Structuring a public speaking programme for youth empowerment

Context

Public speaking is a powerful lever for empowerment, self-confidence and civic participation. Yet many young people don't always have the spaces or tools they need to express their ideas.

As Secretary General, I contributed to the association's development and to organising activities that help young people build their public speaking skills, critical thinking and self-confidence.

My role

Secretary General, board member: association governance, tracking decisions and supporting the different teams.

What this experience taught me

This experience introduced me to the responsibilities involved in running an association's governance. It reinforced my conviction that public speaking is a tool for empowerment, fostering civic engagement and a sense of agency.
